Smart fix

You may be unable to open a bloon via the sidebar if the underlying bloon folder has been moved locally, because the BLOON app is unsure where the files underlying each item are now located.

If a bloon folder or its parent space folder has simply been locally renamed — and its contents are largely intact — the BLOON app may be able to locate it. If the app locates the folder (or believes it has), it will ask you whether you want it to perform a smart fix. This means that the renamed folders will be re-renamed to restore the connections between each item and its underlying data.

Likewise, if a bloon folder has simply been moved to another space folder — and its contents are largely intact — the BLOON app will offer to proceed with a smart fix. If you assent, the bloon folder will be moved back to the space folder where it had been, and the connections between each item and its underlying data will be restored.

This feature is generally reliable, and we recommend taking advantage of it.
